Bodrum – Gokova – Bodrum Tour Program
Day 1 – Bodrum
When you come to Bodrum, you must do your best to start an unforgettable holiday, Bodrum, its magnificent sea, natural beauties, pine forests, nature parks, coves and beaches await you. Built on Halicarnassus, one of the oldest settlements of antiquity, Bodrum is also Turkey's most important holiday paradise opening to the world from the Aegean, with its unique architectural structure, white-painted houses, historical and bougainvillea-adorned face. Called "Karya - Halicarnassus", Bodrum is known for its Mausolus Mausoleum. Bodrum Castle, built in the 15th century, overlooks the harbor and houses the Underwater Archeology Museum. It hosts many festivals every month of the year. It takes you on a relaxing journey in the beautiful turquoise sea of Bodrum. You can find opportunities to swim, sunbathe, relax or explore in the uniquely beautiful bays.
We meet you on the boat, meet the crew. General information and warnings about travel and boat are given by the captain. And the holiday begins…
Day 2 – Orak Island-Çökertme
Orak Island became famous for its marine life and, of course, its crystal clear waters. There is nothing like swimming in untouched virgin bays. If you ask where Orak Island got its name, it got this name because of its shape similar to a sickle in aerial photographs.
While crossing the Gökova Bay, you should stop by the village of Çökertme. Çökertme Bay is an ideal place for a quiet holiday for those who want to have an undisturbed holiday and those who are looking for long nights of conversation. It has a stony beach and a clean sea.
Day 3 – English Harbor, Seven Islands-Long Port-Kufre Bay
On your way to Gökova Bay, you should visit the almost closed entrance called English Bay. Its name derives from the use of the bay. The bay is clean and provides excellent swimming conditions and on the east side of the bay you will find two fine restaurants.
The seven islands in the south of the Gulf of Gökova are a very popular stop for the Blue Cruise. To the west is Seagull Island and is referred to as a bare island among other islands. It is an island with beautiful beaches where you can swim in the south and east sides. It is the most suitable for vacation among the four islands. Seven Islands places to visit In our opinion, your first point should be the Seagull Island. Other islands are Zeytinli Ada, Uzun Ada and Küçük Adalar. These three islands do not have beaches suitable for use like the Seagull Island, on the contrary, they have a rather rocky structure.
The area is famous for its natural beauty, and many boats anchor around the bay or in a cove to enjoy a quiet moment before setting sail.
Opposite the southern coast of Gökova Bay, there is the Küfre Bay coastline and is a gray pebble beach with crystal turquoise water. Therefore, it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water has normal sharpness, This beach is suitable for people who seek different holidays, solo travelers, seek rest, etc. Almost deserted place even in high season.
Day 4 – Karacasogut -Sedir Island-
If you are looking for a wooded beach with lots of leaves and pine needles in the shade, then you should come to Karacasoğut bay. Karaca and Söğüt ports are one of the important stops for blue cruise boats. Despite the traces of the fire that took place in previous years and destroyed a large area, it is still popular. For Söğüt Waterfall and Karacain Cave, you need to turn right after 2-3 km on the way from Karacasöğüt to Okluk Bay. Ask the local villagers as there is no sign. The waterfall pours from 25 m. It has a natural pool underneath. . .
Cedar Island Located in the Gulf of Gökova, it is the largest of a trio of islands filled with spectacular ancient ruins.. The dense vegetation of the island consists of maquis, olive and pine trees. In official treasury records, it is referred to as Şehroğlu Island or Şehroğlan Island. The Fisherman of Halicarnassus named this island Gülen. There are also those who call it Cleopatra Island, Poetry Island, Love Island, Honeymoon Island.
Day 5 – Longoz (Kargili) Bay-
Kargili Bay has pine trees growing at the water's edge and the bay area provides a peaceful sea. If you want complete calm this is the place to go and just lie down, you can enjoy the soft stones day by day inside the yachts.
Day 6 – Tuzla -Kisebuku (Alakisla Buku)
Tuzla is a wonderful little fishing village hugging the coast. The charming fishing village of Tuzla is famous for its restaurants and especially for seafood caught and served on the same day. Some of the locals are also farmers or run tree nurseries; others are beekeepers,
Kissebükü Bay is one of the must-visit places in Bodrum. Kissebükü Bay has perfect beauty and you can relax in a calm and peaceful environment by staying in touch with nature.
7. Gün – Yaliciftlik-Papuc Burnu-
It has a beautiful beach and the village itself is farming, so the countryside is pretty rural. Besides a pleasant walk around this village, you can enjoy a real Turkish meal prepared for the locals.
Just north of Bodrum, you will find the nose-shaped Cape Pabuc bay. It is a bay closed to the breeze in the north of Pabuç Cape. An anchor is placed in 10 meters of sand on the west side of the bay and a seat is taken. It gets shallow towards the nose. It has clean water. It creates a beautiful color harmony.
